Los-Angeles is a crazy mixture of pop culture, expensive cars, unique museums, endless sunshine and amazing beaches. Its energy and fast-paced rhythm will overwhelm you from the very first second you get there, so the need in a luggage storage will be quite urgent — there’s simply way too much to do! Where to leave your bags in LA?

At the airport (LAX, Los-Angeles International Airport):

For security reasons, it was decided to shut down on site luggage storage facilities in LAX.
To leave your luggage at the airport, you’ll have to use
LAX Luggage Storage services. Giving you two options to go for: they might either collect your baggage from you and return it to you curbside at the airport when you’re ready to fly out; alternatively, you can use their automatic storage lockers located in 10–15 minutes drive from the airport.

Choosing the first option, you’ll be charged $12 a day for 1 item of hand luggage, $15 for a checked-in suitcase or $18 for an oversized piece of luggage. Additionally, there a $5 fee per bag if you want it to be delivered to the terminal on your departure date, although you can always pick it up from LAX Luggage Storage office free of charge. The office is open from 4 am till midnight.

Prices for using their automatic storage lockers depend on the duration of stay and the size of the locker required, and start from $8/2 hours for a middle-sized locker fitting 2 hand luggage items. There are also big (1 checked-in bag or 3 hand luggage cases) and tall (long oversized items) lockers available. The lockers are open 24/7.

At the train station (Los Angeles Union Station):

Storing your luggage at LA train station is not cheap either.
If you are travelling with
Amtrak and have a ticket for one of their trains, you’ll be able to use Amtrak Baggage Claim services: it’ll cost you $10 a day for 1 item. In case you don’t have an Amtrak ticket, the daily charge will grow up to $20 per item (be ready to provide a valid ID). Their office is open from 5.35 am to 10.30 pm.

At the bus station (Greyhound LA, Los Angeles CA Bus Station):

You can leave your baggage at Greyhound LA bus station only for 24 hours and only if it meets Greyhound luggage requirements (max weight of 22.5kg and the sum of three dimensions not exceeding 157cm). The availability and prices can be checked by calling Greyhound LA phone line at (213) 629-8401.
