The very heart of sunny Catalunya, Barcelona is one of the most picturesque and quirky European cities. To see the sophisticated spires of La Sagrada Familia, to catch a glimpse of Spanish sun on your skin at the famous Barceloneta beach or to wander down the buzzing Rambla boulevard — all this is a pretty unique experience, which just can’t be clouded by carrying your heavy luggage with you. So where can you leave our bags securely to explore this stunning city hands-free?
At the airport (Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport):
The only luggage storage facilities available in the main airport of Barcelona belong to British Excess Baggage Company. They have offices in both Terminal 1 and 2 (Arrivals zone), which are signed as Consigna Left Luggage and are open 24/7. Prices start at €6/2 hours for a standard suitcase and €9/2 hours for the oversized luggage (bags and suitcases with the sum of three dimensions exceeding 210 cm). When booking for 24 hours and more, you’ll have to pay €10/day or €15/day accordingly; there is a flexible discount system for group orders (4+ cases) and long-term bookings. You can get more details about the prices at their website.
At the train station (Sants Estacó, Barcelona train station):
Just like in the airports, you can leave your luggage at the train station with Excess Baggage Сompany. Their office is located at Level 0 next to the car park; simply follow the signs to Consigna Left Luggage. Fees and the range of services available are similar to the ones in the airports.
At the bus station (Estació Nord, Northern bus station):
Here automatic lockers are located between Platforms 1 and 7, to the right of the tourist information kiosk. Two locker sizes are available — a small one (61.5 х 28 х 76.5 cm)
and a bigger one (61.5 x 55.7 x 91.6 cm). You can leave your luggage here for up to 15 days. Payments are made for 24 hours slots, so keep an eye on your watch: if you are late for even a few minutes, you’ll have to pay for another 24 hours. What is more, if you need to get something out of the locker after it’s been closed, your booking will be cancelled and you will have to pay more.
Important! The machine does not accept cards or notes, so get your change ready! 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 cents and €1 coins are accepted.
Opening times: 5.30 am–11 pm
Price: €3.50/day for a small locker and €5/day for a larger one

Where to leave your bags with Bagstop?
– Gothic Quarter/Aquarium/Cathedral of Barcelona
Gothic Quarter is a quintessence of all medieval sights of Barcelona. In the very center of it stands a stunning Cathedral of Barcelona; other points of interest include Basilica of Our Lady of Mercy, Сhurch of Santa Maria del Pi and Basilica of Saints Justus and Past with its history going back to the 9th century!
– El Born/Zoo Barcelona /Estación de Francia/Barceloneta
Want to wander through the El Born area with its narrow medieval passages, pop into the Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar or visit the refurbished Picasso museum? Or maybe you prefer to have a look around Barcelona Zoo or play beach volleyball at the famous Barceloneta? In this case, this storage point is your best choice!
– La Rambla/Catalunya Square
This storage point will be handy for all those who want to walk down one of the most famous streets in Spain — La Rambla boulevard. La Rambla is the most touristy place in Barcelona and offers a large variety of sights, shops and restaurants.
– La Sagrada Familia/Diagonal Avenue
Staying in Barcelona it is almost impossible not to visit the most ambitious of Antonio Gaudi’s projects — La Sagrada Familia — or walk down the Diagonal Avenue, a unique street that crosses the whole city from top to bottom. Leave your bags here if you plan to pop into Glóries Shopping Mall.
– University and Catalunya Squares
This storage point is located right between the University Square and the Catalunya Square, making it a sweet spot for those loving shopping as much they love sightseeing.
– Plaça d’Espanya
One of the biggest squares of Barcelona, Plaça d’Espanya does not only fascinate with its glory, but is also an important transportation hub of the city. Here you’ll find L1, L3, L8 metro stations and a suburban train station, so it is an ideal place to leave your luggage if you want to explore Barcelona’s surroundings.
Bags&Go luggage delivery service
Bags&Go is an alternative to luggage storage lockers: they collect luggage at the airport, train station or in the port and deliver it directly to the hotel or any other appointed location at the chosen time. It is probably the most convenient way to deal with heavy bags when going on a cruise, as Barcelona’s port is the only transportation hub with no left luggage services available. Prices vary from €8 to €50 per bag depending on the chosen options.
